What you get back

  • Every clock in the agreement. Renewal dates, notice windows, restraint periods, payment terms — with the clause each one comes from. These are the dates nobody has in a calendar.
  • What is not there. Checked against what a South African agreement normally carries: domicilium, governing law, cession, non-variation, POPIA operator provisions.

What it is not

  • It does not tell you whether a clause is fair, reasonable or risky. That is a judgement about your position, and it belongs to you and your attorney.

Saying a contract is risky helps nobody. Saying its survival clause runs from an “Effective Date” the document never defines is something you can act on this afternoon.
