How we protect your documents

Built to be trusted with your contracts.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Every page runs over HTTPS with modern TLS, documents are encrypted in storage, and the app runs in a private network on AWS.

Tamper-evident seal

We hash the original and the signed PDF with SHA-256 and print both on the certificate. Anyone can check a file on our verify page, no login needed. One character different and it won't match.

Verify a document →

Full audit trail

Who opened it, when, from which IP and device, and when each person signed. Signers see what's recorded before they sign. Location is only captured if they allow it.

Protected accounts and links

Passwords hashed with Argon2, two-step verification if you want it, one-time codes for signers, and signing links that expire.

Documents stored in South Africa

Your documents are stored on AWS in Cape Town. Their text only goes elsewhere when you use an AI feature. Our privacy notice lists every service we use and where it runs.

Legal & compliance

Legally binding in South Africa.

Electronic signatures are valid under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA, 2002) for the documents most businesses sign every day.

What you can sign

Contracts, NDAs, quotes, offers, statements of work, mandates and HR letters.

What still needs pen and paper

Wills, the sale of land or property, bills of exchange and long-term property leases. A few others need an advanced electronic signature, which we don't offer.

Trust & compliance

Who you're actually dealing with.
